UN Deputy Secretary General Mark Malloch Brown, on D-day anniversary June 6, 2006:

"Exacerbating matters is the widely held perception... that the U.S. tends to hold on to maximalist positions, when it could be finding middle ground...

Too much unchecked UN-bashing and stereotyping over too many years...

We need the U.S. to support this agenda--and support it not just in a whisper, but in a coast to coast shout that pushes back the critics domestically...

Kofi Annan stands by Brown's speech which was sponsored by leftist groups: The Century Foundation and the Center for American Progress.

In light of this, other recent events, and a culmination of behavior the United Nations has displayed toward the United States, a message to the UN needs to be sent.

If you are displeased with the UN, please criticize them as liberally as possible.
